Virgin Island
Location: Virgin Island, Panglao Island and Carmen, Bohol
It took some time but as promised, the third installment for our Bohol trip is here. You can find the first two here and here. After Balicasag Island we then went to Virgin Island, it's a small, plain strip of white sand, much like the White Island in Camiguin, with no structure or anything at all.
The moment we left our banka, we were hailed by vendors selling sea urchins, fresh coconuts and OMG Abalone! They usually cost thousands in swanky restaurants but here you can have it for only150 Php a piece (cooking included). It was so fresh and delish, totally worth it.
Fiery-colored, saucer-wide sea urchins...
The place was swarming with stars! (Don't worry, it just took me a second or two before i put this one back.)
After the busy day we had, we felt like taking it slow so we head off to a hotel to have lunch and just be lazy...
The next day, we had time to spare so we went to the Chocolate Hills' viewing deck for more photos and souvenirs before leaving the island.
All for now, see you next....
xoxo,
